Julien Leclercq Biography

Julien Leclercq is a professional director, screen writer and producer.

He is well known for directing movies like Ganglands (2021), The Crew (2015), Budapest (2018), The Assault (2010), Earth and Blood (2020) and The Wages of Fear (2024) and as also written movies along side with Roland Môntins, Jérôme Géronimi and more

Julien was born 7 August 1979 in Somain, Nord, France.

He began his career in 2004 with the production of the short film Transit

The short film attracted the interest of producer like Franck Chorot and Gaumont, who soon granted Leclercq an 8.7 million euro budget to shoot his debut feature film Chrysalis, which tells the narrative of a police officer (played by Albert Dupontel) who searches for his wife’s murderer in a Paris 2025. Ever since then he has been in the limelight even till the present moment.
